The Top 20 for season 2 of the show will be performing in this special two-hour episode.
After Tuesday night's performance show, the Canadian public voted and the three couples with the lowest numbers of votes were at risk of elimination. The bottom couples would be given the chance to dance for their lives and persuade the judges, Jean Marc Genereux, Tré Armstrong, Blake McGrath and Luther Brown, that they deserved to remain in the competition.
The Top 18 dancers took the stage by storm, including a grimy dance hall number, some wild krumping, a dramatic paso doblé and a sassy salsa.
So You Think You Can Dance Canada said goodbye to Melanie B. and Anthony last week, and this week, the Top 16 dancers were more determined than ever before. From jazz to hip-hop, mambo to the quickstep, the dancers were in fine form and impressed the judges with their explosive energy.
All around, strong performances, strong dancers, great costumes and great choreography.
